Story:

Jr. NTR plays a dual role in the film that of a Brahmin Chari and another as Narasimha, a daredevil young man who is interested in becoming a police officer. Narasimha works for a top cop Sayaji Shinde and helps him in eliminating gangsters in the city.

Chari is a disciple of Bhattu (Brahmanandam). They both make a living by performing pujas and other religious ceremonies. Bhattu is almost 50 years old but he fancies himself as a young man and he runs after the young and beautiful Chandu (Nayanatara). He wants to marry Chandu and so requests Chari to help him in the matter.
However Chandu has other ideas. She falls in love with Chari and asks him to marry him. Bhattu is angry and he wants to take revenge on Chanri for backstabbing him in the love matter.Narasimha and Chari are separated at birth but meet later in Calcutta. The evil gangster Baba (Mahesh Manjrekar) promises the army Major Nazar that he will unite him with his family as soon as he completes his mission of developing the missile.Sayaji Shinde's daughter Indu (Sheela) is in love with Narasimha. Baba brings Narasimha to Calcutta to show Nazar that has family is safe. Bhattu who wants to take revenge on Chari plans to eliminate him after he is taken to Calcutta by the gangsters.

The rest of the film is about confused identities and the fight of Narasimha to save his father from the faraway island. The climax is not much impressive.

Performances:

Jr. NTR lives up to the expectations of his fans with superb dances, fights and acting skills. He is good in both the roles.NTR comesup with a wonderful and humourous character in chari role for the first time and succeeded in bringing laughs in theatres.

Brahmanadam appears in a very meaty role and hogs the screen presence almost on par with Jr. NTR. He manages to tickle the funky bone. He gets good support from Jr. NTR, MS Narayana, Mahesh Manjrekar and others.

Nayanatara is hot and Sheela is hotter. The two heroines between themselves fill in the glamour department perfectly.

Plus Points:

NTR Comedy (Chari Character)
NTR dance
Brahmanandam hilarious performance.

Minus Points:

Climax

Analysis:

NTR (Chari character) and Bramanandam entertain us in first half of the movie. The second half of the movie is not constructed well. The three serious villains (Sayaji Shinde, Asish Vidyardhi & Mahesh Manjrekar) of the movie conspire in the second half only to transform themseleves into comedy villains. The climax should have been better. Plus point of the movie is comedy by Chari character. On a whole, it's a treat for movie lovers as NTR appeared on screen after a very long gap.

Verdict:  A must watch film for NTR and Brahmanandam hilarious comedy.

YSR Death Conspiracy By Ambanis

Andhra Pardesh News - The Exiled reported that RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani is behind the chopper crash death of Andhra Pradesh CM YSR Reddy

YSR Murder Conspiracy

First, the crash: one of India’s most popular politicians, who heads the state of Andhra Pradesh, just died in a mysterious helicopter crash. What’s eerie is that the dead politician recently went public attacking India’s most powerful oligarch family, the Ambani's, threatening to take away their giant offshore gas concessions.

Meanwhile the Ambani brothers, Mukesh (the world’s 7th richest man) and Anil (the world’s 34 richest) are battling each other in a blood feud that’s taking the whole country down with them–that’s not a hornet’s nest you’d want to stick your fingers into, even if you’re the governor of a huge Indian province.

When it Started

The Ambani brothers’ feud peaked in May when Anil’s helicopter was found to have been sabotaged just before takeoff. Anil strongly hinted he suspected Mukesh, but no one will ever know who did it, because the mechanic who discovered the dirt and gravel in Anil Ambani’s helicopter gear box was hit by a train two days later in what was initially ruled as a “suicide,” but which later was ruled murder.

So why would an Ambani have anything to do with the mysterious helicopter crash of Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy? Just speculatin’ on a hypothesis, as the police chief says in Miller’s Crossing, and here’s why:

Just over a month ago, as the Ambani brothers’ insane internecine war over offshore gas deposits dragged on with no end in sight, Reddy publicly demanded that his state, Andhra Pradesh, take a share of the gas deposits for itself:

Even as the two Ambani brothers are locked in a legal battle over supply and price of gas from the Krishna-Godavari basin, the Andhra Pradesh government has sought its “due share” of the hydrocarbon asset.

Check Mate

He even attacked the brothers’ mother, who brokered the deal dividing up India’s gas between her feuding sons:

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said that the settlement of the gas dispute between the Ambani brothers could not be left to their mother Kokilaben and the Centre must play a decisive role, for which he has written to the Prime Minister.

The Nails on the Coffin

“The dispute over sharing of gas is not an issue to be settled by (the) mother (Kokilaben). It is for the government to decide who should get the gas and also at what price,” Reddy said on the sidelines of a function.

Situation Now

A number of Reliance Retail outlets in Andhra Pradesh today came under simultaneous mob attack after a news report on some Telugu channels alleged the role of the Ambani brothers in the sudden death of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a chopper crash last year.

“It’s a master plan of ‘big hand’ to divert people’s attention with Telangana issue. I feel that. Praful Patel said that he will bring out report on YSR’s death in the last week of November. The culprits must have got alerted and diverted the issue encouraging Telangana turmoil in Nov-Dec 2009 by manipulating CBI. They thought public memory is short. But media is there to awaken every minute”.

Who Is Going to be The Sankranthi Winner?

We predicted that the January war was going to be one of the most exciting BO wars in recent times, It seems that with three big releases - Adurs, Namo Venkatesa and Shambo Shiva Shambo, releasing in two shakes of a lamb's tail come next week, the fight will begin.  Which one is going to emerge victorious.

If measured from the yardstick of pre-release hype, Adurs and Namo Venkatesa both stand good chance to get high openings.  There is no limit to what Adurs can earn in terms of first week collections obviously because it is planned for a big theatrical release, even in the overseas market.  On the other hand, Namo Venkatesa is sure to get the maximum openings for a Venky film because for his fans among the family audience, it is not only hugely awaited but also the hype that it is an all-out comedy is going to work to its immense advantage.

The names of  Vinayak and Sreenu Vaitla associated with these films is only going to benefit them the most.  Also the entertainment-starved audience are sure to lap them up in a big way, whatever the talk they generate in the first week.  NTR has huge mass appeal, while Venky's 15-year old stardom is no less important.  It will be a cut-throat competition between the two films.

Coming to Shambo Shiva Shambo, the Ravi Teja-starrer may not have generated the kind of hype it was expected to owing to the off colour look of the film, but it seems this story-based film is sure to unleash a surprise package.  Elements like sensitive emotions spun around the values of friendship and sacrifice may attract the film audience.

Let's see who emerges Number One among the three!
