ANR back 2 news with his new BEARD




National Award 2008 winners were felicitated on the dais of Nandi Awards 2008 function at Lalitha Kala Thoranam on the auspicious Ugadi Day.

The award winners for 2008 are Smt Jamuna - NTR National Award, Smt Vijaya Nirmala – Raghupati Venkaiah Award, Sri Ramesh Prasad – Nagireddy Chakrapani Award and Sri KB Tilak – BN Reddy Award.

All the four prestigious award winners received the honor from AP Chief Minister Sri K Roshaiah.

Addressing the gathering State Minister Smt Geeta Reddy said, “In the Panchanga Sravanam it is mentioned that our State will be safe without any obstacles. It is a good sign to hear about that. Nandi Awards started in 1964 and since then it continued till date. Along with NTR National Award and Raghupati Venkaiah Award, Dr Rajasekhar Reddy garu introduced two more awards. It is only the Congress party which helped the film industry to establish right from former CM Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy to Roshaiah garu. Cinema is the most powerful media in this society. Therefore I request the film-makers to make films on social cause along with commercial films.”







Bheemili Kabbadi Jattu coming in April




Tamil film ‘Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu’ is a blockbuster in Tamil Nadu and now it is being remade in Telugu as ‘Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu’ featuring Naani and ‘Villagelo Vinayakudu’ fame Saranya Mohan as lead pair. Selva Ganesh, who provided music for the original version, now making his entry in Tollywood through this flick. Taking shape in the hands of a debutant Tatineni Satya, the film is presented by RB Chowdary under Mega Super Good Films banner and it is jointly being produced by Paras Jain and NV Prasad. According to producers this is a heart rendering feel good romantic film. The shooting is almost complete, so folks, if you are a lover of romantic films, worth waiting till April.

TANISH new film OK launched



A tri-lingual  with Tanish as hero, Raj Varma has launched a new film titled ‘OK’ at Ramanaidu Studios on Ugadi Day. D Praveen is going to direct this flick under Rajvarma banner. VV Vinayak tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot, while C Kalyan switched on the camera and V Sagar directed the shot.

Speaking to the media producer Raj Varma said, “OK is the first of its kind in India that is going to be made as 3-D film in psychic thriller genre. The shooting will take place in Hyderabad and Vijayawada respectively. The film will be simultaneously be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Tanish will make an entry in Bollywood through this film.”

“You will see a new Tanish in this psychic thriller”, says our young hero Tanish.

Srinivasa Raju, the presenter of ‘OK’ informed that the 1st schedule of shooting will continue in Hyderabad till this month end and the 2nd schedule will begin in April 2nd week. “The film is going to be made with high technical standards and visual effects”, he said.

Disha and Aswitha are going to share screen as heroines. While the story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by Dilip and Praveen, music is rendered by Chakri and camera is handled by S Santhosh. Executive producers of the film are A Jaganmohan and K Chandu. 




GOLIMAR coming this april






Puri Jagannath’s ‘Golimaar’ with Gopichand as encounter specialist has reached the final leg of shooting. Produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, this Sri Sai Ganesh Productions’ has Priyamani in female lead role and Nazar, Roja in key roles. Chakri is composing the tunes and Shyam K Naidu handles the camera. The basic theme of the film was taken from the real life history of Daya Nayak (Mumbai Encounter Specialist). ‘Golimaar’, the action flick will getting ready to hit theaters on 24th April as summer entertainer.
