Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next movie in the direction of Paruchuri Murali has been tentatively titled ‘Adhinayakudu’. Saloni and Lakshmi Rai are the female leads in this movie. Adhinayakudu is being produced on Sri Keerthi Combines Banner.
The movie is entering its final stages of production and the Producer has informed us that the third and final schedule will begin from September 20th in Kurnool. The movie is a family drama entertainer with an action backdrop. Balakrishna will be seen in three different characterizations in this movie and the director is confident that the audience will be thrilled.
Kalyani Malik scores the music for this movie and the movie will probably hit the screens this December. More details will be released soon along with the final confirmation of the title.

Balakrishna to jump into politics...!!!

Nandamuri Balakrishna has been star campaigner for Telugu Desam party. He actively campaigned for the party in the last general elections. But he made it clear that he'd jump into active politics in 2014.Talking to reporters in Anantapur on Sunday, September 11, 2011, he announced: "I will even contest from one of the assembly constituencies in the next general elections."

But he will continue doing movies till then. "Currently, I am working on two films - Parachuri Murali's film and B Gopal - Bellamkonda movie, both of them would hit the screens next year. Sri Ramarajyam is ready for release," he added.

Just prior to the last elections, megastar Chiranjeevi jumped into politics and floated a party on his own and later he merged the party into ruling Congress Party. So now another top star is stepping into Andhra Pradesh politics.

I'd not have done Sri Rama.. but for Bapu: Balayya...!!!

Speaking about how Sri Rama Rajyam happened to him, Balakrishna said that had it not been for Bapu he would not have done the film.  Hailing the directorial sense and wisdom of Bapu, the star, who plays Lord Rama in the soon-to-be-released film, noted that Bapu is a dab hand when it comes to giving shape to such stories on the celluloid.

He also took the opportunity to talk about the film's music rendered by Illayaraja.  Balayya averred that the listeners are liking the music a lot and that the Teluguites are finding the songs impressive.

"Ramayana, the great epic, reminds us of our values and the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbhakam (all world is one family)," he said.  The Nandamuri hero also expressed confidence that the film matches the expectations of one and all.

Srikanth, who plays the role of Lakshman in the film, said that he felt happy to share screen space with Balayya.  His first-ever full-fledged mythological film will, the actor hoped, will surely mesmerize the audience.

Sri Ramarajayam's Memory card...!!!

With mobile phones fast replacing music CD systems in India, Aditya Music has decided to launch 2GB Micro-SD cards. The leading audio company on Wednesday (August 24th) launched the first All In One Entertainment Card of Sri Ramarajyam . Balakrishna and Srikanth graced the memory card launch ceremony held at Hotel Novatel in Hyderabad.

The card consists of MP3 songs, ringtones, videos, wallpapers of Sri Ramarajyam and also other devotional songs from various albums.

Speaking at the occasion, Balakrishna said Sri Ramarajyam will be remembered for long time. "Songs have already been become popular and the movie is not targeted for any particular sections or fans. It is for everyone and it instills devotional feeling," he added.

Srikanth said that he would never ever forget the experience of playing the role of Lakshmana in this film based on the classic Lava Kusha.

'Kanchana' Lakshmi Rai eyes on big hit...!!!

Lawrence directed Kanchana is a big hit. The film might end up collecting Rs 10 -12 Crores in Andhra Pradesh. More than Lawrence, the film's heroine Lakshmi Rai is celebrating its success with josh. As she is doing the main heroine role in Balakrishna's current film, being directed by Parachuri Murali, the success of Kanchana has put her in advantage. And now she eyes on a big hit to settle down comfortably in Telugu film industry.

Earlier Lakshmi Rai acted in films like Kanchanamala Cable TV but she didn't get any recognition here. With boost coming from Kanchana , all she needs just another hit.

Chiranjeevi's title goes to Balakrishna...!!!

Adhinayakudu was the title considered for Chiranjeevi's 150th movie in the direction of Vinayak before Chiru plunged into politics. As Chiru is busy with politics, the movie has been put aside. Now same title is being finalized for Balakrishna's film in the direction of Parachuri Murali. In the beginning, Mahadeva Naidu was considered as the title for this movie but now they reportedly choose this name - Adhinayakudu as it has mass appeal. 
The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Lakshmi Rai is the main heroine in the movie while Jayasudha and Nadia are playing important roles in the film. It is aimed for Pongal 2012 release.

Sri Rama Rajyam on October 6th?

 

Information coming in from Filmnagar is that Sri Rama Rajyam will reportedly be released on October 6th to take advantage of the dussehra holiday season. The movie was slated for an end September release earlier.

The audio has already met with stupendous success and this has increased the expectations on the film. Senior director Bapu reportedly considers this to be his finest work so one can expect a good offering here.

The post production work of the movie is currently on. Sri Rama Rajyam has Balayya in the role of Lord Rama and Nayanatara in the role of Sita. Akkineni plays the role of Valmiki.

Audio Review : Sri Rama Rajyam – A True Classic

Sri Rama Rajyam is Bapu’s magnum opus. The movie has Nandamuri Balakrishna reprising the role of Lord Rama played by his illustrious father, Shri NTR.. Nayanatara plays the role of Sita and Akkineni Nageswara Rao essays the character of Valmiki. The movie has an ensemble star cast including Srikanth, Murali Mohan and others. 5.Devulle Mecchindi:

This number has a very folk song kind of flavour. The voices of Chitra and Shreya Ghoshal are in perfect symphony and make this song a delight to listen to. Beautiful and soulful music from Ilayaraja lends the song an ethereal feel. The song will be an instant classic.

6.Gaali Ningi Neeru

This song will spring a surprise on you. Not because of the quality of music but because of the choice of instruments and the rendition by S.P.B. The song is a classic melancholy of the kind sung by a hero when his heroine is separated from him.In fact, this song will not be out of place in a regular commercial love story. And that is why it will surprise you. Dominated by a heavy use of the synthesizer and modern instruments, the song itself is pretty good but it just feels out of place in this album.

7.Ramayanamu Sri Ramayanamu

Another brilliant number rendered beautifully by Chitra and Shreya Ghoshal. The lyrics composed by Jonnavithula are beautifully poetic and pay rich tributes to the story of Rama and Sita. The emotion in this song will move you to tears. Good use of classic Indian instruments.

8.Dhandakam

Lyricist: Jonnavithula

This is a short Dhandakam praising Lord Rama.

9. Sita Simantham

As the title suggests, this is the song sung during Sita’s Sreemantham. This is a breezy melody with light and cheerful lyrics. The music sounds familiar and reminds the listener of Ilayaraja’s music from the good old days.

10.Rama Rama ane

Lyricist: Jonnavithula

This song describes the naughty acts of  Rama’s childhood and the style is a throwback to the olden days. You will find songs of this genre in old films like “Lavakusha” and “Balaramayanam”. The song is pretty decent but is nothing special like the other songs in the album.

11.Kalaya Nijama

Lyricist: Jonnavithula

This short song expresses Hanuman’s anguish at the events unfolding in the movie and his helplessness. A good performance from Tippu carries the anguish in the song to the listener.Ilayaraja’s music adds weight to the lament.

12. Idhi Pattabhi

Lyricist: Jonnavithula
This song will be picturized on Lava and Kusha and will most likely be a nursery song in their infancy. The lyrics describe the habits and traits of a young Lava and Kusha . A folk like melody, this song has some familiar music once again from the old days. Nothing special but nothing wrong either.

13.Shapthaswaradhamarudam:

Lyricist: Jonnavithula
This is a very short eulogy rendered by S.P.Balasubramanyam and describes the noble attributes of the King. Balasubramaniam’s voice resonates richly.

14.Mangalamu Ramunaku:

Lyricist: Jonnavithula

This short beautiful melody is a climax song that officially draws proceedings to a close. Melodious performances from Anitha and Keerthana give the lyrics a lot of life and there is tremendous positivity and happiness in this rendering. A fitting final song for this album.

Analysis:

This is one of the finest works of music to have ever come out of the Telugu Film Industry.

All set for Sri Rama Rajyam Audio Songs @ AUG 15...!!!

The stage is almost set and ready for Sree Rama Rajyam audio songs release as the arrangements have almost been completed. Sree Rama Rajyam audio songs release function is to be held today – August 15 at  Bhadrachalam. And this time the surprise package is music maestro Ilayaraja, who will also be gracing the Sri Rama Rajyam music launch. The audio teasers were already out and the response has been quite superb from all corners and sources say that Ilayaraja would be creating a lasting impact on the music lovers and Nandamuri Balakrishna fans with his euphony.

Right from the word go, director Bapu was accentuating on music and he has roped in his long time friend Ilayaraja for the movie's music. Even Ilayaraja treated this as one of the prestigious projects and has given the music a classic touch with contemporary instruments and nodes. Well, the entire unit exudes confidence about the Sri Rama Rajyam in which Nandamuri Balakrishna plays Lord Rama, Srikanth essaying Laxman and Nayanathara plays Sita.

Maestro Ilayaraja has given lilting musical score for veteran director Bapu's retelling of Ramayanam - Sri Ramarajyam . The teaser bits of the songs released are enough to proclaim that Ilayaraja's music is going to be the main highlight of this mythological movie. And the movie's music albums are to be unveiled at the Sanctum Sanatorium of Bhadradri Temple in Bhadrachalam on August 15th, 2011.

Along with the film's lead hero Nandamuri Balakrishna, director Bapu, producer Yalamanchi Saibabu, maestro Ilayaraja will also be attending the audio launch ceremony at the temple.

Producer Saibabu has already sent invitations to the ceremony of the Tollywood biggies and media men. The event is going to be broadcast on all news channels.
