Lyricist Kaluva Sai passes away...!!!

Kaluva Sai, who wrote lyrics for Rakta Charitra, KSD Appalaraju and Gaayam-2, passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest. He was 30 years old. Born in Giddalooru village in Prakasham Dt., Kaluva Sai wrote one of the most hilarious songs in recent times - Luck Toh Shiva Cinema Teesi in Katha screenplay appalaraju. May his soul rest in peace.

This is third such incident in recent times, where young & talented artists succumbed due to cardiac arrest. Recently, music director Anil R and writer Gandham Nagaraju passed away at a very young age.

Nithin’s Ishq set to back on sets in July

Nithin’s upcoming film Ishq will begin its next schedule from July 4 onwards. So far, 60% of the film has been shot. Nithya Menen is playing the lead role. The film began shooting in Goa back in February and after the long schedule in Goa, it was shot for few days in HYD. Vikram Kumar is directing the film. P C Sreeram is the cinematographer. Anand Shankar is composing the music. Shresta Media Pvt Ltd is producing the film. Nithya Menen’s 180 is releasing on June 25 in Telugu and Tamil and another film Sega will be releasing in July.

Dusky beauty Kamalini Mukherjee is known for her performance oriented roles. The actress says she is happy with the serious roles offered to her and also comfortable doing them, as far as it's a good one.

"It's a male-dominated industry but I have been lucky enough to get some good roles," says Kamalini.

Kamalini says that the audience appreciated her work in serious role, rather than just as eye candy opposite star heroes.

"I have done both commercial and serious films, but the audience liked me in my serious roles," she said.

Kamalini has pinned hopes on her upcoming film 'Virodhi', which stars Srikanth. The film is a political psychological thriller. Kamalini plays a strong character in it and at the same time she is like a breath of fresh air in the movie.
