No Delay in OOsaravelli date...!!!

Oosaravelli has been confirmed on October 6th. The release date was decided long back. But Mahesh Babu's Dookudu turning out to be huge hit, a section of media started circulating the news that Oosaravelli might be postponed to later date. Those reports are false, says the producer BVSN Prasad. "Don't trust rumors, we are coming on October 6th without fail. Planning to release in big manner," he stated. The film has completed its shooting part.

This is NTR's second film in row to hit the screens during the Dussera festival. Last year, his Brindavanam released on the occasion of Vijayadasami and went on to become blockbuster.

Oosaravalli , directed by Surender Reddy and stars Tamannah and Payal Ghosh as the female lead, is currently in the last leg of post-production.

After much shilly-shallying, the makers of Gautham Menon's tri-lingual romantic caper have announced the name of male lead in Telugu.  The position remained vacant for good two weeks after Ram opted out of the project citing the likelihood of its shoot taking plenty time because it is being simultaneously made in three languages.

The result is that it has become Nani's advantage.  The actor has been signed to be hero in the Telugu version, titled Nithya.  Samantha is the female lead.

The producers kept all this under the wraps until the deal was finalised.  Produced by RS Infotech, the film has music by AR Rehman.

Gautham Menon is understandably satisfied with the way Nani carried himself in Veppam (dubbed in Telugu as Sega).  Ala Modalaindi proved that the stubble-faced actor can be at ease with romantic movies.  It is hoped that Nithya will consolidate his position in the industry.

Dookudu Collects 21.22 crores in 3 days...!!!

We have been receiving independent Box Office figures so far for Prince Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu and while all of them pointed out the massive blockbuster status the movie is fast turning into, we have received the official figures directly from the producers now. Dookudu has stormed the Box Office to rake in a cool Rs21.22 crores in three days. That is massive by any means of comparison.

Sreenu Vaitla, Anil Sunkara, Gopi Achanta, Ram Achanta and writer Gopi Mohan all expressed their happiness at the superb outcome of the movie. Sreenu Vytla’s birthday happened to be on 24th September and by then it was obvious that Dookudu was a massive hit.

As reported earlier, the movie is doing phenomenally well in the US also and the magical US$ 1 Million mark was reached within three days itself. Prince Mahesh Babu has re-established his claim as the Box Office Badshah with this film.

Mahesh Babu back to work after suceess...!!!

Prince Mahesh Babu is back at work after enjoying the stupendous success of Dookudu. Mahesh Babu rejoined the shooting of ‘The Businessman’ yesterday night. Puri Jagannath is directing this flick and Mahesh Babu is going to be seen in a very new look. ‘The Business Man’ will hit the screens on January 12th as Puri Jagannath is hell bent on finishing this flick in a record time.
Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine for this movie and Thaman is scoring the music. The success of Dookudu is a big boost for Mahesh Babu as well as Puri Jagannath as it virtually guarantees bumper openings for ‘The Businessman’.Jagan is a master at giving his hero a larger than life image and that should work just fine with Mahesh Babu.
The movie’s shoot will go in a single schedule till November 7th and most of the work is going to be wrapped up by then.

Dookudu: Record openings...!!!

It was expected that Dookudu would rake in great openings but what surprised everyone is its unbelievable figure on the first day. According producers, the movie collected Rs. 10.11 Crores (Share amount) on the day one itself. Not just in Andhra Pradesh, Dookudu set records in overseas market and other territories like Chennai city.

In overseas, the film has collected an unprecedented collections of 1 million dollars in USA.

Saturday and Sunday figures too are equally awesome. At this rate, trade pundits expect the movie might break the first week records of Rs 21.5 Crores set by Magadheera. It remains to be seen it would actually cross that figure but it is fact that the collections for the first three days are massive.
