When it comes to worshipping cinema stars, no one in the world can beat outrageous fans of Tamilnadu. They are known for worshipping cinema stars as demigods. They even crossed the line and have built a temple for Kushboo. Even today, media repeatedly reports about the temple building plans of crazy fans of a given star.
Tamanna, has turned a household name of Tamilnadu in the recent past. Currently she is enjoying the number one status in Tamil cinema. No wonder, Tamanna managed to win many hearts over there. Recently there was a fan club started in her name. In the inaugural function, fans erected a fifty feet cutout of the actress and offered puja! Later, they went on to conduct ‘Paalabhishekam’ program for which hundreds of litres of milk was wasted.
Tamanna came to know about this and has seriously condemned such acts. She said that only Gods should be worshipped in this manner. She is happy for having a fan club but is not so impressed with their act.
