Sri Ramarajayam's Memory card...!!!

With mobile phones fast replacing music CD systems in India, Aditya Music has decided to launch 2GB Micro-SD cards. The leading audio company on Wednesday (August 24th) launched the first All In One Entertainment Card of Sri Ramarajyam . Balakrishna and Srikanth graced the memory card launch ceremony held at Hotel Novatel in Hyderabad.

The card consists of MP3 songs, ringtones, videos, wallpapers of Sri Ramarajyam and also other devotional songs from various albums.

Speaking at the occasion, Balakrishna said Sri Ramarajyam will be remembered for long time. "Songs have already been become popular and the movie is not targeted for any particular sections or fans. It is for everyone and it instills devotional feeling," he added.

Srikanth said that he would never ever forget the experience of playing the role of Lakshmana in this film based on the classic Lava Kusha.

Prayogam: A newcomer's experimental movie...!!!

Imagine if a screen is split by four and all the four frames are simultaneously showing 'action' for almost 2 hours! Such experiment was never done before, neither in Telugu cinema nor in Indian cinema. A young filmmaker Bhanu Prakash from Hyderabad comes up with this novel idea - making a thriller with four split screens. The film is aptly titled Prayogam.

"While I was doing as software engineer in Delhi, my interest in films grew up and I went to London to do a course in filmmaking there. At my film school, I came up with this idea of setting up four cameras in four different locations and showing the live action on screen by splitting the screens into four frames," Bhanu Prakash said.

Normally screens are split for a minute or so in the films to show two or three different action events. "But I have decided to film 80 % of the movie in this mode. Roughly it comes around 2 hours of run time while my movie's entire runt time is 2 hours 20 minutes. It is a thriller revolving around drugs syndicate, so I am showing various moods of actors on different frames, so that audiences can witness 'live' what really is going on," he added. 

"I have not come across this kind of narration in anywhere in the world. So it is unique experiment. We have made the film as an experiment but it has all the necessary commercial ingredients," Bhanu Prakash said.

Prayogam has actor Surya (of Show fame) in the lead role and cinematography is by T Surender Reddy. Rattamma Bulusu is the producer while Bhanu Prakash has written and directed it.

Bramhi'S Different Variations in MONEY 3...!!!

Brahmanandam will very soon be seen performing karate fights, kung fu moves and snake dances! Yes, you heard it right.This was revealed by none other than J.D.Chakravarthy himself, the director of the upcoming movie “Money Money and More Money”. Brahmanandam is reprising the iconic role of Khan Dada in the movie and J.D. says that the audience are in for one huge laugh riot.

The movie is not a true sequel to the two cult comedies “Money” and “Money Money”. Only their characters were taken and a new story line was created for this movie. Khan Dada earns tons of money in the real estate boom and loses them all in his fascination for the movie industry. That is where the movie starts off.

J.D.Chakravarthy is also playing the lead role in the movie apart from directing it. Chakri scores the music for this movie which is hitting the screens on Friday.

Pavan – Veeru Potla combination confirmed...!!!

Power Star Pavan Kalyan and Veeru Potla are coming together for a movie and this movie is going to go on sets from January 2012 most probably.

The movie is going to be produced by D.V.V. Danayya. The cast and crew of the movie is still being worked out and more details will be available soon. Veeru Potla has earned a good reputation as a commercial director and his last two offerings made decent business at the box office.

Rajmouli Latest Tweet on his upcoming film with Prabhas...!!!

Successful director S S Rajamouli has announced his new project with Young rebel star Prabhas . Veteran director K Raghavendra rao is producing this film under their own RK Films banner. Keeravani is scoring the music.

The budget of the film is expected to exceed Magadheera’s budget by almost 1.5 to 2 times.

Director Rajamouli cleared the air about Kajal Agarwal featuring in his next film with prabhas. 'Kajal in Prabhas' film is false news. We haven't come to the casting part yet.' Rajamouli tweeted on his twitter page.

Prabhas now working with Rebel movie under Raghava Lawrance direction and his next film is with Rajamouli . This movie is  produced under RK Films banner by K Raghavendra Rao

Rajamouli will move to Prabhas’s film after he is done with Eega. Right now he is fully focusing on this film as he is taking this as a challenge to answer his critics that he can’t make a film without masala elements.

Rajanna inspired by the life story of Suddala Hanumanthu...!!!

We do notice statues of local heroes when we visit villages in Andhra Pradesh. Few of these statues belong to neither politicians nor well-known freedom fighters. These statues are of unsung heroes who fought for their freedom and for their land. One such local hero is Suddala Hanumanthu (father of national award winning film lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja). He is a poet from Nalgonda region who fought against Rajakars to save the land of his village-men.

As per the sources of idlebrain.com, story of Nagarjuna’s forthcoming film Rajanna is based on the life story of Suddala Hanumanthu and is about the revolution he led to oppose the oppression by the Rajakars in the post-independence era when Hyderabad’s Nizam state was yet to join the Union of India. The time period during which the story happens is 1950’s and 1960’s.



Vijayendra Prasad who had been the backbone of many of SS Rajamouli’s successes is wielding megaphone for this movie. Impressed with the unique content, the producer Supriya Yarlagadda is producing this movie on big scale with lot of rich sets on her prestigious Annapurna Studios banner.



There have been rumors spread in media that this film is on Telangana movement. But it is not true. The producer has taken a few incidents that happened in Nizam rebellion time and used the Razakar movements as the backdrop. The story is about a man fighting for the land and fighting for the people.

J D Chekravarthy - Chitchat...!!!

With Shiva, J D Chekravarthy got break as 'villain'. With Money, Gulabhi, andAnaganaga Oka Roju , he became a star. With Satya , he became a national star.  Today, J D Chekravarthy prefers to be known as a good director than an actor. Having directed two action flicks - Homam and Siddham , he now moves onto comedy films, which according to him are his first love.  His new directorial venture, Money Money More Money is third movie in the franchise of Money. As the film is set for release this weekend - August 26th, he talks to us at his posh new residence cum office in Jubillee Hills..

Money and its sequel Money Money were successful. But both of them were produced by Ram Gopal Varma. What made you to make third part on your own?

Though I directed action flicks - Homam and Siddham , I didn’t enjoy the process of filmmaking while I directed them as action genre is not what I love to do personally. Comedies are where my heart is. Till date, I enjoy films made by Jandhyala and K Raghavendra Rao's entertainers than pucca action films.  So when I thought of directing my third film, I came up this idea of making sequel to Money and Money Money, both are cult comedies. So, Money Money More Money is my kind of movie. A director should enjoy the movie doing it before he/she presents the film to the audiences.

When Ram Gopal Varma learnt that I am making sequel to Money and Money Money, he said he was actually thinking of doing it and appreciated that I got the idea first.

So this movie starts off from where the earlier ones ended?

No, I didn’t take the scripts of those movies but only characters. You have Khan Dada (played by Brahmanandam in the earlier two movies), me and some other characters from the originals but script is changed.

What is this film all about?

It is about Khan Dada who earns huge money during the real estate boom but subsequently loses it all in film world. One day, a group of friends come to his house and take him as hostage. He tells them that he doesn't have single penny now and they won’t get at single paisa by this kidnap plan. But they have other plans. He trying to come out of this leads to several comic situations. I am confident that everyone in the theater will laugh out loud at the piquant situations in Brahmanandam's involved with. That is why I am not hesitating to reveal the basic plot. 


These days, Brahmanandam is seen in every other film. What is so specialty of his role in this film that you are so confident of?

Brahmanandam's success lies in there. He is still making us laugh despite his omnipresence in all films made in Telugu. It is like eating rice daily. You don’t get feel bored even though you take the rice daily. On the sets, I could not utter the word ‘cut’ as I was enjoying his performance.

You will see his viswaroopam in this film. He did Karate, Kung Fu, and other fights. He also did somersaults and snake dance.

Is this film based on any other language movie?

Yes, it has references from many of the movies made in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Bojpuri, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, etc. (laughs). See the film yourself and decide.

Why did you turn to direction when your career was going good as actor?
Actor is like a child. Director is like a father. Though I am son to my parents, don't I have to become a father?

Are you satisfied with your earlier movies as director?

I didn't take money for Homam and Siddham but they made money to the producers. As I said earlier, I didn’t enjoy the process of making those movies as my heart was not with them. But Money Money More Money gave me creative satisfaction.

Did you show this film to your guru Ram Gopal Varma?

No and I don't want to, as I will get tensed expecting. I may show the film only after the release.

There are rumors that Ram Gopal Varma and you are not on talking terms?

I know why these rumors cropped up. As I am not seen with him at any press meets these days, some people are speculating that all is not well between RGV and I. Truth is that we talk to each other daily. In fact, he offered me Appalraju first but I could not do it as I am more interested in my directorial ventures. 


Why did you stop doing films as actor?

When did I? I am currently acting in a bilingual with Arjun and Minisha Lamba. Finished a movie in Tamil which is directed by K V Anand's associate. Also did a film in Kannada.

But you are not busy as actor as you used to.  In fact, everyone expected you to be one of the busiest actors in Bollywood after the release of Satya!

True. Post the success of Satya , I was flooded with offers in Bollywood but I came down to Hyderabad to complete the films - Premaki Velayera and Satya Harischandra . But I don’t regret at my decisions. I am totally happy with my career, for whatever the decisions that I did on my own.

Heard that you said okay to marriage finally?

Yes, I have finally decided to get married. Not that I was against marriage system earlier, but I knew I was not responsible guy then. I used to take decisions on whims and fancies where as marriage demands a matured and responsible approach. I think I have finally matured enough to understand this. 


Will you go for arranged marriage?

Why not. Any how you don't plan 'love', right!

What next?

Working on two scripts. Will announce once the movie releases.

Gopichand's 'Mogudu' in Dussera race...!!!

Director Krishnavamsi's film, Mogudu, with Gopichand and Tapsee as the lead pair, is in the last leg of shoot. Currently being filmed in Malaysia, the film is being planned for September end release.  "By August 26th, we will wrap up all the shoot except for two songs. So we are planning to release the movie in September, " said producer Bujji.

Mogudu is romantic entertainer that has marriage system as the main theme. Newcomer Baboo Shankar is composing the music.
