Rajamouli completes 10 years in film industry...!!!

It’s been exactly 10 years since S S Rajamouli made his debut as a director. He began his career as an assistant to K Raghavendra Rao and over the years he has established himself as one of the most successful Telugu film directors of all time. After directing a TV serial, Shanti Nivasam, Rajamouli made his debut as a director with Student No.1 under the supervision of K Raghavendra Rao. The film, which had Jr.NTR in lead role was made under a budget of Rs 2 crores and it turned out to be a critical and commercial success and gave a new lease of life to Jr.NTR’s career. However, it was Rajamouli’s second film, Simhadri, which catapulted his fame to greater heights. After that he made films like Sye, Chatrapathi, Vikramarkudu and from the budget of Rs 2 crores for his first film, by the time he directed Yamadonga, the budgets increased to more than Rs 20 crores and the returns were even higher. In 2009, his film, Magadheera turned out to be a box-office monster which smashed all existing records and still remains as the biggest hit in Telugu cinema’s history. Currently he’s directing a big budget fantasy film, Eega which has Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in lead roles.

He often collaborates with M M Keeravani, Vijayendra Prasad, Rama Rajamouli, Kalyani Malik, Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao, Ravinder and Senthil Kumar for his films and he has received the Nandi Award for Best Director for his work in Magadheera. Popularly called as Jakanna in the industry, Rajamouli is a brand today and films with his ‘stamp’ promise to be high voltage action entertainers. He has already announced that his next film after Eega would be with Prabhas and it’s likely to be another mega budget period film. Let’s see what sort of trump card he’s going to pull out this time.

Rajamouli predicts NTR’s success...!!!

Ace director S.S.Rajamouli knows the public pulse like no other director of his generation and that has enabled him to stay successful in the industry known for its fickle nature. When Rajamouli makes a prediction, people tend to take it seriously.

Rajamouli has put out a tweet that goes like this “Tarak played 4 songs from “dammu”.never heard such high energy songs from MMK b4.though it is too early to comment i am getting a feeling That Boyapati Garu is going to redefine MASS films with this one. All the best!!!”

So the most likely title for the NTR and Boyapati movie will be ‘Dammu’. With a good remark given by Rajamouli, NTR’s fans can look forward to another mass blockbuster from the Young Tiger.

Rajmouli Latest Tweet on his upcoming film with Prabhas...!!!

Successful director S S Rajamouli has announced his new project with Young rebel star Prabhas . Veteran director K Raghavendra rao is producing this film under their own RK Films banner. Keeravani is scoring the music.

The budget of the film is expected to exceed Magadheera’s budget by almost 1.5 to 2 times.

Director Rajamouli cleared the air about Kajal Agarwal featuring in his next film with prabhas. 'Kajal in Prabhas' film is false news. We haven't come to the casting part yet.' Rajamouli tweeted on his twitter page.

Prabhas now working with Rebel movie under Raghava Lawrance direction and his next film is with Rajamouli . This movie is  produced under RK Films banner by K Raghavendra Rao

Rajamouli will move to Prabhas’s film after he is done with Eega. Right now he is fully focusing on this film as he is taking this as a challenge to answer his critics that he can’t make a film without masala elements.

Dookudu music launched...!!!

Music albums of Mahesh Babu’s much waited Dookudu were unveiled at the special launch ceremony held at Shilpa Kala Vedika on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Mahesh Babu, the film’s heroine Samantha, director Srinu Vytla, Brahmananandam, writers Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat and music director Taman from the film’s cast and crew attended the function. Rajamouli was the chief guest and he unveiled the CD albums and handed over to director Sukumar. Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata also graced the ceremony. Dil Raju, Adishesagiri Rao, Rahul Nambiar and others were also present.

"As you know, I never speak much on stage before my film’s release. But now I feel to express my feelings about the movie. Director Sreenu Vytla has put his blood into the movie. Working with him is a great experience. His brand of entertainment coupled with Taman's fantastic music will be liked by one and all. Samantha is perfect co-star and she looks good in the film. We are releasing the movie next month," Mahesh Babu cheered up his fans with this brief but sweet speech.
