Businessman Begins...!!!

Prince Mahesh Babu’s eagerly awaited project, The Businessman, has formally commenced its shooting today. The movie is the brainchild of Puri Jagannadh. Mahesh and Puri scored a super blockbuster in 2006 with Pokiri and they are teaming up again to recreate that magic. Kajal plays the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu in this movie.

The movie commenced shooting in Shamshabad and a few scenes were shot on Mahesh Babu and Kajal. Puri wants to complete the shooting in one single schedule and has announce a January 2012 launch. This is a very heartening trend if true and will create a record of sorts for Prince Mahesh Babu.

The movie is being produced by Venkat on R.R.Movie Makers banner. Thaman scores the music for this action entertainer.

Ileana pairs up with Ravi Teja in 'Idiot 2'...!!!

Ravi Teja and Ileana are considered as hit pair after the stupendous success of Kick (2009). Now, they are teaming up together for third time. Ravi Teja will romance Ileana in director Puri Jagannadh's sequel to Idiot. Though Ileana has not officially signed on the dotted line yet, she has agreed to do the film. Idiot 2 will go to the sets in January 2012.

Ravi Teja and Ileana first acted together in Khatarnak which bombed at the box-office but their second film went on to become big hit. This is also third film for Ileana in the direction of Puri after Pokiri and Nenu Naa Rakshasi.

Puri working very hard for Businessman...!!!

Puri Jagannath is working like a man possessed for Mahesh Babu’s “The Businessman”.The maverick director is extremely confident about the movie and he says he needs just 75 days for completing the film. The music sittings for the movie are now on in Bangkok and if Puri succeeds in making the movie in 75 days, it will be a record of sorts for Mahesh Babu.

The Businessman is being produced by R.R.Movie Makers and Kajal is the female lead. Hansika is playing an important role and Thaman is scoring the music for this movie. “Guns dont need agreements” is the logo of this movie.

NTR and Puri team up again ...!!!

Puri Jagannadh announces another film in Telugu. He will be directing NTR for the producer Ganesh Babu. This film might go to the floors in the summer of 2012. Puri is currently directing Mahesh Babu's The Businessman and he also announced sequel to Idiot from Jan 2012.

"I have readied a good line for NTR. It will be an action love story and will give new image to the star," Puri said in a press note.

Earlier Puri and NTR worked together for Andhrawala , which was a colossal flop. And now Puri wants to deliver blockbuster to NTR.

Mahesh Babu’s The Businessman launched...!!!

Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film The Businessman was launched earlier today in R R Movie Makers office. Puri Jagannadh is going to direct the film and Venkat is going to produce the film on R R Movie Makers banner. Kajal is the heroine. Thaman is going to score the music and Shyam K Naidu is going to crank the camera. Mahesh Babu, Puri Jagannadh, S S Thaman, Shyam K Naidu, Atchi Reddy, Ramesh Muppala and few others were present at the pooja ceremony at R R Movie Makers’ office. The film is going on floors in September and the entire film will be shot in Mumbai.

S S Thaman strikes again with BUSINESS MAN !

  

Music director, SS Thaman is the current sensation in Telugu film industry. Now, he has bagged another big offer with none other than Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh! Yesterday, Thaman revealed that he’s going to compose music for Mahesh Babu’s next film – The Business Man, which will be directed by Puri Jagannadh. He recently met Puri Jagannadh in Mumbai and has already begun working on the film’s music. The Businessman also stars Kajal Aggarwal and the shooting will begin from September onwards. Abhishek Bachchan is going to star in the Hindi version.

Thaman’s tunes in Ravi Teja’s 2009 flick Kick became so popular that in the past two years, he has become one of the most sought after music directors in the industry. In the recent few months, he had composed music for Brindavanam, Ragada, Mirapakay, Veera, Kanchana and Kandireega. His next big audio release in Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu and in Tamil, it’s Vandhan Vendran starring Jiiva, Taapsee.

Puri Jagannath bags another film with the Bachchans!

After working with Amitabh in Buddah Hoga Tera Baap. Puri Jagannath has bagged another offer to work with the Bachchans once again. So impressed was Amitabh Bachchan with Puri’s style of working that he recommended him to his son,Abhishek Bachchan,Puri had reportedly approached Abhishek Bachchan a long time ago for a film; however the project was kept on hold because AB Jr. was busy with other projects. Now, he has given a green signal for the film. The bigger surprise is that Puri Jagannath would be making the Hindi version of ‘The Businessman’ with Abhishek Bachchan. We know that he’s going to make the same film in Telugu with Mahesh Babu, Kajal in lead roles. The way things are turning are going on between the Bachchans and Puri Jagannath looks like the director is following the footsteps of his mentor, RGV, who made quite a more than two films with the Bachchan family. Buddah Hoga Tera Baap releases on July 1.
