HOW Amitabh Bachchan became AURO in PAA

The most Herculean task about the latest release PAA was transforming a 67-year old Amitabh Bachchan into 13-year old child Auro, suffering from a rare disorder called progeria.
So come let's take a short run-through over how Amitabh became Auro.

The prosthetic makeup, as we know, has been done by Hollywood's Christien Tinsley (THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, CATWOMAN) and Dominie Till (THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY).

According to the reports Bachchan's make-up cost 10 per cent of the total budget.
It is learnt that it used to take four to five hours daily for Amitabh Bachchan's makeup to be done for his film PAA.
Not only this, if it used to take four hours to put on the make-up then two hours to remove it.
There are eight different layers of clay which has been put in his make up in the film.
While applying the make up he cannot eat, drink and talk for four hours.
Big B wore specially designed dentures so as to effortlessly replicate the voice of a 13-year old child.
He wore the dentures throughout the film's shooting and also had them on while dubbing.
Infact he has also sung a song in his voice wearing these dentures, which sounds like a child

Digit ratio theory - what your fingers say about you!

lol i find this so interesting.

ever heard of the digit ratio theory? it's the theory that you can tell someone's sexuality by the lengths of their fingers

Digit Ratio Theory

The Legend:

"Dude, I can totally tell he's gay! Look at his fingers!"

This sounds like one of those playground urban myths that adolescent males use as an excuse to punch each other. Supposedly, comparing the size of your index and ring fingers can tell whether a guy is destined to one day make out with Sulu and Andy **** in a poorly lit alley in Hollywood.

Yeah, right. Enough of your ignorant homophobia!

The Truth:

Incredibly, this is a real thing. It's called digit ratio theory and multiple studies have confirmed it.

Apparently if you have a longer ring finger, it means you got more testosterone as a fetus and are more likely to be hyperactive, aggressive and disgusted by anything featuring Hugh Grant.

A longer index finger, on the other hand, means more estrogen, making you more neurotic and sensitive. So if your index finger is way longer than your ring finger, you're like the gayest dude ever, right?

Actually, no. Studies found that it was when the two fingers were nearly the same length that the subjects were more likely to be gay (men and women both). Why? You'll have to ask the scientists, it's technical. What we do know is a study from Rutgers looking at finger lengths in lesbians even found a noticeable difference between the "butch" ladies who drive trucks and wear flannel and the more feminine lesbians who tend to populate your fantasies.

Finding your digit ratio:
STEP 1: Measure the full length of your ‘index finger’ (your ’second digit’: 2D).

STEP 2: Measure the full length of your ‘ring finger’ (your 'fourth digit’: 4D).

STEP 3: The quotient of the length of your index finger and your ‘ring finger’ (2D/4D) is your digit ratio (2D:4D).

A high 2D:4D ratio is associated with women, and a low one is associated with men. High testosterone before birth as indicated by digit ratio produces behavioral problems like temper tantrums, bullying, fights with other children, being hyperactive or being easily distracted.

What about me?
My index and ring fingers both measure about 3.25 inches, so my digit ratio is approximately 1.
What does this mean? Well, according to studies, men with higher 2D:4D ratios are shorter. I have a comparatively low 2D:4D ratio, and I'm 6'4". It is also suggested that 2D:4D ratios close to 1 are associated with homosexuality.

So... how far into this entry did you get before you stopped to look at your fingers?

Anitha O Anitha VS Magadheera

The year 2009 has come to an end and time has come to have a look at which was the best in the business. This was a surprise package this time as one of the most unexpected things happened in Andhra Pradesh. This is in terms of the famous songs that were downloaded on the mobile.

While first in the list was ‘Panchadhaara bomma bomma…’ from the mega blockbuster ‘Magadheera’ it is the second place that is a surprise. An unknown singer Nagaraju came in with his song ‘Anitha O Anitha’ which struck chord with the music lovers here.

It is heard that ‘Anitha..’ song was downloaded in mobile for about 4 lakhs and above while ‘Panchadhaara…’ downloads were more than 8 lakhs. But many say that ‘Anitha O Anitha’ was a big surprise. The credit goes to the Zee 24 hrs for coming out with a proper publicity strategy. Nagaraju hails from Karimnagar district and he made a brand for himself like this.

BrahMos missiles to be assembled at Pilani

File picture of the BrahMos missile system. Photo: Rajeev BhattThe country’s next assembling centre for the prestigious BrahMos missiles will be Rajasthan’s Pilani. The State Government has already allocated 80 hectares of land near Pilani town, better known for its Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Pilani) for this purpose.
At present the BrahMos missiles, a joint venture of India and Russia, are assembled in Hyderabad. There is also a Brahmos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Limited near the Kerala capital.
The Chief Controller of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Chief Executive Officer of BrahMos Board, Sivthanu Pillai, was here over the weekend in this connection. He met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and promised to start work on the new centre at the earliest. He thanked the State Government for the allocation of land and presented to Mr. Gehlot a model of Brahmos missile.
Extolling Brahmos as the fastest missile in the world, Dr. Pillai told Mr. Gehlot that an investment of Rs.200 crore would be made on the new centre. The missile moves three times faster than the speed of sound, he pointed out.
The new centre would recruit about 150 technical experts and people from Rajasthan would be given preference in recruitments, he promised the Chief Minister.
It was DRDO’s proposal that a BrahMos project be set up in Pilani. It had approached the State with a request for allotment of land. In fact, eminent missile scientist and former President of India A. P. J. Abdul Kalam during his visit to BITS Pilani in March-April 2007 to address students there had spoken about possible linkages with the students of the Institute and the country’s missile programme.
