Sri Rama Rajyam gets Release Date
Already movie has got huge hype because of rare combination and already audio is creating thunders. Talk in industry is that, balayya seems to be like legend NTR in this movie. This lord rama getup is kept secret and not revealed in trailers also. Nayantara(sita) is female lead in ‘sree rama rajyam’. Actor sreekanth appears in character of lakshmana, Bapu is the director. illayaraja scored music for sree rama rajyam. saibabu is producer of this movie.
Nandamuri balahrishna starrer sri rama rajyam movie is slated to release on september 16 and with a BUDGET OF 32 CRORES making it the biggest budget film in BALAYYA's career.
Nitin’s Ishq in last stages of filming...!!!
Nitin’s upcoming film Ishq is in its last stages of filming. So far, 80% of the film has been completed. Except for three songs, a chase sequence and the climax, the rest of the film has been shot. Two of these songs will be shot in foreign countries and the third song will be shot in Delhi. The final schedule of the film will begin from September 1 in Hyderabad. Vikram Kumar is directing the film. M Vikram Goud is producing the film on Shresta Media Pvt. Ltd and Multidimension Entertainments banner is going to present it.
Acclaimed cinematographer P C Sriram is the lensman and Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Aravind Shankar is composing the music. The film’s touted to be a romantic entertainer and Vikram Kumar is confident that it’ll be one of the best films in Nitin’s career.

Will Dookudu be different?
Sreenu Vaitla may be someone who is hailed as a safe commercial director, but it is also true that he has repeated ideas by making some cosmetic changes to the same formula. Dhee, followed by Ready and Namo Venkatesa, were almost similar, and the latter two were liked mainly because they had comedy, not for any novelty. In a sense, the audiences were a bit bored with the idea when Namo.. almost flunked in making the viewer not find the apparent regularity.
After a gap of almost 18 months (his last release was in January 2010), Vaitla is coming up with Dookudu. The question on the top of everyone's mind is this: will Vaitla change the tacks with this film? He has followed the same method, fitting his laughable stories in the same genre from time to time.
To our relief, however, Vaitla has stated that Dookudu will be a package of surprises. We only hope that it is the case indeed. The moot question, though, is this: Will it be a technical surprise or will it have something new to offer in terms of story?
Bezawada Rowdylu release date confirmed?
News reports coming out are indicating the Bezawada Rowdylu maybe released on October 21st.
The movie has Naga Chaitanya in the lead role and is being directed by Vivek Krishna. Ram Gopal Varma is producing the film and there is a lot of controversy surrounding the film for its storyline and theme.
The movie has Kota Srinivasa Rao, Abhimanyu Singh, Shubhalekha Sudhakar, Mukhul Dev, Ahuti Prasad and others playing important characters. The movie reportedly deals with the caste politics and union issues that dominated Vijayawada in the late 80′s and early 90′s.
Sri Rama Rajyam on October 6th?
Information coming in from Filmnagar is that Sri Rama Rajyam will reportedly be released on October 6th to take advantage of the dussehra holiday season. The movie was slated for an end September release earlier.
The audio has already met with stupendous success and this has increased the expectations on the film. Senior director Bapu reportedly considers this to be his finest work so one can expect a good offering here.
The post production work of the movie is currently on. Sri Rama Rajyam has Balayya in the role of Lord Rama and Nayanatara in the role of Sita. Akkineni plays the role of Valmiki.
Prakash Raj to direct film about Dhoni...!!!
He played the villain in Salman Khan’s Wanted, Amitabh Bachchan’s Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap and recently fought Ajay Devgn in Singham.He says, “Dhoni is our new cricketing icon. He is already a legend among the kids and they want to grow up to be like him.”

Hansika in Businessman...!!!
Hansika is flush with the success of Kandireega and the movie seems to be doing wonders for the revival of her career in the Telugu Film Industry. News from the industry is that Hansika has just landed herself a role in the prestigious project “The Businessman”. She is not the main heroine however.
“The Businessman” has Mahesh Babu in the lead role and the movie is being directed by Puri Jagannath. There are many expectations on this movie and the story is reportedly very novel and innovative.

Ram talks about Kandireega's success...!!!
Ram is brimming with joy as his latest release, Kandireega , has turned out to be a hit. Released last Friday, the film took great openings and got talk of a super hit. "It took better openings than my earlier blockbuster Ready . Some say it would surpass the collections of Ready. But I am happy that my decision of taking 15 months of gap to release this film turned out to be fruitful," he said. He met the media men at his residence on August 15th.
Big hit in overseas too
Kandireega took bumper openings in USA too. Bigger than Ready.
About director
Santosh Srinivas has joined the league of big directors now. He said he'd do another film with me. I am glad that he projected me in a different angle altogether and he put everything in this film.
On comments about mix of several movies
Some are saying it is mix of two or three films. I don't comment on that but people are enjoying it to the fullest. I saw Kandireega on the first day of its release in a theater and witnessed the euphoric response from the audiences. People are laughing constantly as the movie progresses. What matters is the acceptance of the audiences and success.
Comparisons with Ravi Teja
On comparing with Ravi Teja in the film, all I can say, I take it as a compliment.
Sonu Sood, Hansika and Aksha..
Yes, I have more screen space with Sonu Sood than Hansika and Aksha. Enjoyed working with them all. Thankfully, scenes between Sonu and I have come out so well. Hansika is matured girl now than when I worked with her in Maska. Aksha has great future.
Mahesh calls on
Mahesh Babu called on me and congratulated on the movie's success. He spoke at length and I thank you for his support. He and Tarak (NTR Jr) always encourage me.
Clashing with Dhada
It was unfortunate to clash with another big movie. I think in future, our producers should plan the releases in co-ordination with other producers when two films are ready for release. Today, Telugu films are having tough time at Box-office, so success of a Telugu film is important to the industry. Clashing with another film should be avoided.

I have finished first schedule of Karunakar's movie Endukante Premanta and from August 24th, shoot commences again. Will announce details of Gautham Menon's movie later.

Madrasi Pattinam as ‘1947 A Love Story’ in Telugu...!!!
Madrasi Pattinam , a period Tamil love story set in the British ruled Madras, is now being dubbed into Telugu as 1947 A Love Story . Multi Dimension Entertainments is releasing the movie into Telugu that has Arya and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The film was directed by Vijay, whose recent film, Nanna , won accolades from critics.
Producers said they are planning to release the movie in September.

What's it about
Krishnadas (Pritviraj) and his friend (Prabhu Deva) lead jolly life. One-day a corporate company's representative (Nitya Menen) comes to them and offers huge money for Krishnadas's ancestral property in Kerala. Krishnadas comes to know that his property has a history and it has huge value. In a flashback.. In Chirakkal, a warrior (Arya) fights against the Vasco da Gama and gets killed. So his son Kelu Naynar (Prithviraj) decides to kill Gama with a special weapon called Urumi that is made with Gold. His friend Vavvali (Prabhu Deva) also joins in his mission and later princess of Arakkal (Genelia) comes with them to kill the Gama.
Analysis
Urumi is dubbed version of Malayalam film by the same name. Directed by acclaimed cinematographer cum director Santosh Sivan, Urumi has an interesting plot line. Santosh Sivan is renowned for making visually alluring films and Urumi is no exception. The movie has stunning visuals and never seen before locales. His technical artistry is visible in each frame in the film. You just marvel at several scenes on the screen as splendid action sequences unfurl.
Fantastic performances from the lead actors especially Genelia and Prithiviraj further elevate the film's mood.
Pace of the film is slow and there are some dragging moments too, but despite them, the movie holds your attention till the end. The effort that has gone into making it is truly amazing to say the least.
Performances
Pritviraj in two varied roles comes out with stunning performance. He is equally good in the role of a modern guy and in the character of bygone era's warrior. As Vavvali, Prabhu Deva has done justice to his role. It is Genlia who catches one's attention. As a princess and a brave woman, she brings believability. In the action sequences, she does so perfect.
Nitya Menon, Tabu and Vidya Balan also appear in the movie but they have not much to do.
On the technical front, Santosh Sivan as the cinematographer steals the show. Each frame is like a painting. His camera angles are astounding too. Wannabe cameramen must watch this film repeatedly to get the mastery over the art. You can also see his mastery in each department as he brings out best from his chief technicians - art director (superb and perfectly depicts the bygone era) and music director.
Bottom-line
Urumi is a must watch film for its great visuals, good performances and its rich production values. It is a massive film and also very entertaining. Most of the time, it spellbinds you as the movie unfolds. Visually enticing movie.

Sameera Reddy to be Kamal Haasan's gal...!!!
Sameera Reddy is all set to play the coveted main heroine role in Kamal Haasan's ambitious thriller - Viswaroopam . Sonakshi Sinha was Kamal's first choice but the rotund beauty walked out of the project citing dates problem. Later Kamal has tried to rope in other top Bollywood actresses for the movie but he could not succeed. So he reportedly has finally taken Sameera Reddy for the movie, which is to be shot in Tamil and Telugu.
Ravi Teja and Tapsee's new film launched...!!!

Tapsee has signed another big movie in Telugu. In Ravi Teja's Veera , she played the second lead and now she's doing the main role in the star's next film that was launched yesterday (August 18, 2011). Cinematographer turned director Siva (of Sowryam fame) is directing this film and the film's pooja ceremony was held at producer Burugupalli Shivaramakrishna's office.
Ramcharan’s Racha completes filming in Bangkok...!!!
Ramcharan’s upcoming film Racha has completed its shooting in Bangkok, Thailand. After filming a song in Sri Lanka, some action scenes were shot in Bangkok. Tamannaah is playing the lead role in this film. Sampath Nandi is directing the film. NV Prasad and Paras Jain are producing the film on Mega Super Good Films banner. The film is said to be a mass entertainer and Ramcharan is playing the role of a guy who would do anything to become rich. Ajmal (of Rangam fame) is playing a villain’s role in the film and he’s playing role of a race driver.

Normally seen in traditional wear, not showing off her skin at public functions, Samantha also was spotted at the function in a Sari but her naval piercing caught everyone's attention.
