Manisha Koirala to marry Nepalese bizman on June 19

The 40-year-old actress, who is from political family in Nepal, entered Bollywood through director Subhash Ghai's Saudagar in 1991. She went on to act in many hit films like Dil Se, Khamoshi, 1942: A Love Story, Akele Hum Akele Tum and many others. She was one of the top heroines in 1990s.

In 2001, she broke off her engagement to the then Australian ambassador to Nepal, Crispin Conroy, saying she was not yet ready for marriage. Last year, she was to have tied the knot with American author, speaker and mental toughness trainer Christopher Dorris but the wedding bells did not ring. Now, Nepal's star in Bollywood, Manisha Koirala, is ready to return to her roots by taking the plunge with fellow Nepalese Samrat Dahal.

"We have fixed the wedding date on June 19," said Surendra Dahal, father of the groom and a businessman whose Leather Wings company does rolling business and has associates in Bentinck Street of Kolkata, famed for its leather shops, Chennai, New Delhi, Kanpur and Agra.

Samrat studied in US, but is now back in Nepal to set up his own bio-gas plant. The first plant will be started in tourist city Pokhara, incidentally the place where Manisha was down shooting for her upcoming Nepali film 'Dharma', returning to the Nepali film industry after nearly two decades.

We are planning to release the film in the month of May. We are introducing a Bangalore girl Praneeta as a heroine. Both Tanish and Praneeta performed at ease.”

When it comes to worshipping cinema stars, no one in the world can beat outrageous fans of Tamilnadu. They are known for worshipping cinema stars as demigods. Tamanna came to know about this and has seriously condemned such acts. She said that only Gods should be worshipped in this manner. She is happy for having a fan club but is not so impressed with their act.

Vedam is a Remake of Hollywood Film PULP FICTION with some telugu flavor

Multi starrer film "Vedam" is gearing to hit the screens in summer. Stylish star Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj,Anushka and Bollywood talent Manoj Bajpai are part of the project. Allu Arjun and Anushka acting together for the first time. Gamyam fame Krish is directing the film. Shoba Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are jointly making this film under the banner of Arka Media Works. M.M. Keeravani is composing the music.

As per the sources Vedam movie is a remake of Hollywood film "Pulp Fiction". Pulp Fiction is an American crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film is known for its rich, eclectic dialogue, ironic mix of humor and violence, nonlinear storyline, and host of cinematic allusions and pop culture references. The film was nominated for seven Oscars.

Brahmanandam son Gautham’s 'Varevva' launched

Ace comedian Brahmanandam’s son Gautam has signed his second film ‘Vaareva.’ This film will be produced by Maheswara Rao under Movie Miracles banner. Kalyan Manthena is making debut as director of the film. New heroine Sambhavi will play female lead against Gautam. The formal shooting of the film begins on Thursday at Hyderabad. Dr.Dasari Narayana Rao clapped the muharat shot and Dr.Brahmanandam performed Puja rituals.


Speaking on the occasion director Kalyan said that his film is a romantic action packed entertainer with a college back drop. The regular shooting of the film will begin from May 3rd and continues up to July. The talky part will be filmed at Vizag, Hyderabad and Goa cities, and songs will be filmed in August at Hyderabad. He said the film is planned to release in October 8th.


Dr. Brahmanandam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Devan, Jeeva, Venu Madhav, Raghubabu, Srinivasa Reddy,  Surekha VANI , Sameer, Master Bharat and some others are playing supporting characters in this film.

iIleana in "FASHION" Remake

Who ever have seen the National Award winning Hindi movie ‘Fashion’ will see the passion of film maker Madhur Bhandarkar. The way he experimented with India’s fashion industry with the main plot of a model who gets addicted to sex and drugs is laudable and here comes the counter parts of Madhur Bhandarkar in South and his name is Indrajit Lankesh, the director and Manju, the producer.


Both of them hailing from Bangalore have almost finalized the Southern version of ‘Fashion’ in all three languages Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. ‘Of course the fashion scene down south is not as bold as it is in Mumbai but the basic nuances remain the same. A lot of girls who enter the field face problems that I want to show in my film,’ said Manju.


The role portrayed by Priyanka Chopra in ‘Fashion’ will be done in South languages by slender beauty,  ileana. By the way, this prestigious project will go on sets by August. So, it would be a rare role for ileana to excel as it has the perfect shades of a model who got addicted to drugs and sex and even ileana comes from modeling field.
